We thank all of you that help us keep Actors Pages scammers free. We guess our amazing growth comes with a price that every big site has to face at some point. Every now and then we have scammers that are trying to use Actors Pages to scam actors.
If something seems fishy, then its probably is. Please be aware of any jobs that seem suspicious. Let us know immediately if you come across any job listing or email of this nature.
Most of the time we already blocked the account holder and we’re investigating further. Please understand that we are screening casting notices as much as possible, but can’t screen registrations. These types of job listings are hurting us more than the individual and we are doing our best to monitor the users. However there are people that pose as film students, independent filmmakers, and others that we simply can’t know their intention till our users file a complaint.
