Nicole Scherzinger “Pussycat Dolls” Lays a Role in ‘Men in Black 3’
Another cast for the flick marking Men in Black 3 just revealed, assembling a new leading lady – the hottie star Nicole Scherzinger. In such music industry, Nicole Scherzinger is perhaps best known as the former member of Pussycat Dolls and the future host on Simon Cowell’s new music competition “X-Factor USA”. However, in movie industry, it will be the very first time for her to taste the sweet and bitter side of acting world.
Talking to Crave Online, Scherzinger spilled the beans by confirming that she had been cast to portray “a woman in black”. She gladly uttered, “She’s actually a woman in black and leather; a woman in black leather actually!” Dipping her toes in movie world at the first hand, she said working in Men in Black trilogy was amazing. “It was an honor to work with Barry Sonnenfeld, the director, and Jemaine Clement who’s my costar,” she began revealing.
Apart from that, Nicole Scherzinger actually went to college for theater. So it was such an honor for her to utilize her “old” skills to chop a role in Men in Black 3. I, for myself, was wondering if her theater training is able to work well in a grand scale of film which is content of special effect. Actors, you should have been very well up that theater and film production are mainly different. Responding to this issue, Scherzinger said, “Honestly, not only did my theater training with my background in acting with that, but my stage training because I had to create a whole other character for this role”. Man in Black 3 will recite the story of a time traveling Agent J (Will Smith) who goes back to the 1960s in order to visit a young Agent K (Josh Brolin) who is being hunted by MIB’s villain, Boris (Jemaine Clement). He tried to kill him but this will also lead the end of the world. In her part, Scherzinger will have a cameo and open the flick, “In some of the scenes I’m walking and you’ll see with some serious hardcore rocket launcher”. The funny part is that she plays some songs in her head while doing these scenes, her song Poison and also Led Zeppelin.
